Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club is a private equity membership mountain retreat where the opportunity for membership is by invitation only.  Focusing primarily on providing exceptional Carolina mountain experience, traditional and playable golf, luxurious mountain lake recreation and unforgettable family outdoor fun.  Mountaintop members enjoy rustic, yet refined adventures amidst the grandeur and traditions of the Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains.

The mountain lodge-inspired clubhouse is the social and activity gathering spot for all Mountaintop members.  Mountaintop’s clubhouse captures the romance and rustic beauty inherent in the time-honored structures of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Each element of Mountaintop radiates the warm, inviting ambiance of a structure that has given comfort to generations of members, and from the very moment you arrive, you feel at home.

Mountaintop’s clubhouse provides luxurious amenities including a fine-dining restaurant with beautiful views of the golf course, a newly renovated spa & ladies locker room, a masculine men’s locker room that provides bar & dining service, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a beautiful resort style swimming pool, tennis facilities, member lodging and so much more!

When arriving on property stop by the General Store to begin creating memories that will last a lifetime.  Meet Mountaintop’s goat mascots and stock up on farm fresh eggs from Mountaintop’s own chickens.  The General Store features casual and outdoor apparel for all ages, local artisan and specialty gifts and a wide variety of wine, beer, & other beverages to stock your home!

Outdoor Pursuits

Our Outdoor Pursuits facilities will give everyone in your family the excitement they crave from these beautiful mountains.   Kids will enjoy spending time at Base Camp creating crafts and enjoying the great outdoors.  The Activity Center includes two croquet courts, and indoor basketball court, a video game cavern for teens, two pickleball courts, a sand volleyball court, a treehouse inspired playground and a spacious dog park for your furry family members!

Take a quick drive off property and explore lake Glenville at Mountaintop’s Lake club.  The lake club features boat rentals, dining options, private beach access, fishing access and more.  A short ways away you can also experience the thrill of Mountaintop’s shooting club.  From shotguns to rifles and even tomahawk throwing, the shooting club will excite everyone in the family!
